Solution Design

This stage captures the proposed solution to the problem we're trying to solve. Each element of the solution needs to be the product of the Scope Analysis and the Goals and Analysis stages. 

Central to the BingWorks methodology is to understand the problem before proposing solutions. 

The solution is the product of the Goals Analysis and the Scope Definition. It considers the organisational goals, the environment and the project goals. The Scope Definition impacts the scale and span of the solution.  

Solutions need enough detail to inform an implementation plan, and agility to allow for the inevitable changes that arise through the implementation phase.
