The implementation plan involves:
Experience counts when estimating work efforts - together with sound analysis. Based on the audience analysis, the functional scope, and the solution, Bingworks develops a detailled plan on what needs to be developed, accounting for project timing, resources, and budget.
Risks, dependancies and assumptions enable the Project Board understand what is required for a smooth implementation. Is there enough time reserved from subject matter experts? What is the level of quality assurance (e.g. testing, review). How will the resourcing requirements fluctuate? What technology that will be utilised? Is there contingency for scope creep and rework of development? How will this initiative impact business as usual operations? All these factors need to be considered and articulated when developing an implementation plan.
With an understanding of the work efforts, combined with an understanding of the risks, assumptions and dependancies, a schedule of activities can be developed. This is shared with the Project Board for review and approval; and the orgasnisation more generally to understand how the initiative will impact end users in conjunctions with other initiatives.
